ABOUT US

Who We Are:  Washington County SAFE Coalition members represent all walks of life and professions; they range in age from high school age to over 80-years old, with diverse gender and ethnicities represented.

MISSION:  Coordinate unified community wide prevention efforts to foster strength of character in youth and families and reduce substance abuse, violence, crime and associated problems.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

• Work on multiple nation-wide prevention campaigns
• Work on policy initiatives to reduce underage drinking and substance use in Washington County
• Work as part of an action team in developing and implementing environmental strategies
• Assist with marketing and advertising
• Assist in planning workshops and events
• Attend local and national trainings and workshops
